Is the Shark Navigator really just as good as the Dyson Ball vacuum?
I was watching an infomercial about the Shark Navigator and was just curious. I shouldn't believe it just because the biased infomercial says so.
Not even close. The Dyson is a highly engineered, precisely manufactured product with a 5 year warranty. The Shark only has a 60 day guarantee. That should tell you most of what you need to know.
An infomercial is not a news program, it's just a long form advertisement designed to entice consumers to buy their product with beautiful pictures, amazing results, limited time financing, and special pricing. I don't believe everything I see anywhere on television, but I have no trust in anything I see on an infomercial, or any advertisement, until I can verify it somehow, like by reading independent reviews by reputable publications, such as Consumer Reports. You usually get what you pay for and if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
