How can I sell a product in an interview?
I have an interview for sales advisor at a call centre tomorrow, my friend has already had an interview there and said you basically have to do a small test which is simple, then you have to sell a product in front of a group of people, I'm rather nervous as I have only ever had cleaning jobs, what do I start by saying? I think I will be talking on the phone to someone, my friend had to sell a Dyson hoover for example, please help
You have to have an opening: Hi my name is .... and I would like to talk to you about ....
Then you need to ask if they have heard about the product. If they say no, tell them about it. If they say yes explain the features and benefits. Then ask them some open ended question like what would it mean to you if they could do things or save money with the product. Eg: If you had this Dyson Hoover what would it mean to you if this could save you time on housework and make your house have that new fresh feel about it.
If you get any objections about the product use a technique called Feel, Felt, Found.
Eg:I understand how you FEEL because I have had customers who FELT the same way but once they gave it a try they FOUND that it really did help.
And the 1st rule of sales is if you don't ask you won't get so after you have dealt with the objections say " So shall we do that". Its that easy
