Ok DYSON owners, are they really worth the big $$ long term?
My $250 Bissell bagless upright is three years old and is costing me $40 once or twice a year in maintenance and filters to keep the suction working.
I want something better, that will consistently deep clean and suck up all my cat's hair. But Dysons are really pricy - are they worth their commercials?
What do you use, how do you rate it, and what do you recommend?

Kirby's are really good as well, but also pricey and heavy. ($1500 for base model, when I was selling them 10 years ago)
