WHAT KIND OF VACUUM IS CLEANER DO YOU USE?
My 6 month old is already crawling and right around this time my Hoover Tempo has stopped working. I'm looking for a new vacuum (READ BEFORE YOU ANSWER) here is what I'm looking for
* price under $125
* hepa filter
* a vacuum that doesn't spew out dirt and dust while i'm vacuuming
* easy to clean, nothing messy
safe to use around baby!!!!
And FYI , once again my budget is $125 and under which means no Dyson, so help me out people, please suggest something I can afford and has the things I'm looking for....Thank you!!!
OK I see that people can NOT read....what was so hard about do not mention a dyson (no sh!t its better) or anything above $125, i'm looking for a cheap but good vaccum as a extra for my workplace.

That is a tall order to fill for that amount of money. Most vacuums at that price or less flat out just don't work well. They either don't pick up dirt or they spew it right back into the air - regardless of whether or not they have a HEPA filter.
About the best I can recommend is the Bissell CleanView series http://www.bestvacuumreviews.com/bissell-cleanview.html
The CleanView is a bagless vacuum, which manages pet odors and general carpet odors much better than a bag type vacuum.
If you can stretch your budget just a little further, the Shark Navigator is a great vacuum for its price point. It has the features and abilities of much larger and more expensive vacuums, such as the Dyson or Oreck.

Shark has recently come out with the Navigator Lift-Away, which is more maneuverable and is both an upright and a canister vacuum in one. You use it as a normal upright for floor work and low above floor work or you can detach the canister from the floor head and have a completely portable, lightweight canister vac for high reach cleaning, stairs, etc. The Lift-Away is available at national retailers for about $160, Bed Bath and Beyond has online discount coupons and you can get it for as little as $120. Other than being two vacuums in one, the Lift-Away's features and performance is identical to that of the original Navigator in the link above.
