Is the Dyson dc25 different from the dyson dc25 animal?
I was looking at vacuums and reviews online because my old vacuum sh*t the bed. I Am in love with the dc25 animal mainly because it is purple and has such good reviews. Then, I started to notice the all of the details for the yellow dc25 were the same. Are there any differences besides color and price?
The two vacuums are indeed mechanically the same. Where they differ is in color and the accessories that come with the vacuum The Yellow model is the All Floors, which has the normal dust brush and crevice tool. The Purple model is the Animal, and it comes with the standard tools as well as a turbo brush and some floor care products designed for pet odor and stains.

I have the DC07 Animal and the turbo brush, IMHO, is a must have, the rest of the stuff I've never used, and don't intend to, so I would recommend going with the cheaper All Floors model and then purchase the turbo tool separately and save yourself about $50.
